Welcome
We are passionate about inspiring our students to perform with energy in class, creating a drive and spirit that helps to build strength and endurance on stage and in life.
By sharing our love of performing art we aim to inspire creativity. By understanding and respecting each student’s individuality, we guide them through their personal journey as they grow with us.
It is our mission to strive for excellence and professionalism, while fostering a supportive environment to develop each student’s confidence and independence.

BALLET
ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE
Thursdays and Saturdays
The core principles of ballet focus on balance, coordination, strength, and poise.
Every exercise and step builds on these, creating a strong and capable dancer. To be able to dance properly you must have good posture and a strong core whilst giving the opportunity for expression and communication through music and movement.
Ballet gives you the basic arm and leg movements you need in jazz, modern, tap, and ballroom! It helps you find your centre of balance, gain strength and agility and move gracefully.

About Us
The Performing Arts Theatre Academy was established in 2014.
We opened using a church hall in Blandford offering just Musical Theatre, Acting and Singing. From there our family has grown and now with our own purpose built studios we are able to offer more and more to the students.
We know that every child is unique, and their drive and motivation depends on their passion. We nurture that passion and provide a safe, caring environment to develop and treasure new and exciting skills. These skills help to improve self-esteem, confidence, creativity, musicality, rhythm, team work, listening, but most of all the ability to have commitment and a desire to achieve their goals.
Student wellbeing is a priority and as a family studio we promote inclusion, kindness, thoughtfulness, consideration and pride. We have high expectations of our students behaviour and values and teach them how to uphold these.
