Ballet
Royal Academy of Dance
Ballet improves posture, general health and co-ordination whilst giving the opportunity for expression and communication through music and movement.
From Pre-School Classes to Adult, we have classes on Thursdays and Saturdays

Pre-School + Tiny Toes
18 Months - 2.5 Years
Does your little one love to giggle and wiggle? Bring them along for a dance class to inspire their creativity and have lots of fun dancing to their favourite songs!
Tiny Toes ( 1.5 - 2.5yrs) - A parent and child class with a fun mix of dance styles to inspire creativity through music with lots of props.
Pre-School (2.5-4yrs) - We have an introductory class for each of our main dance styles at the academy, Ballet, Tap and Acro. Classes are designed to begin building students confidence and skills required for each style of dance while inspiring them to explore and express their creativity while having lots of fun. Parents attend with their child but children are encouraged to dance with their friends and teachers.

TAP
BBO
Tap dance is a form of dance characterised by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion and teaches the student all about rhythm. The sound is made by shoes that have a metal "tap" on the heel and toe.
Fast and loud, fun and energetic!

Commercial Jazz
Commercial is a non-syllabus dance style that takes from many other dance disciples (such as jazz, street, modern and hip hop) and is a combination of self expression, energy and performance.
Modern Acro Dance
Acrobatic Arts
Our Modern Acro Theatre Dance classes promote co-ordination and stamina and contain exercises to strengthen, extend and loosen the body and increase flexibility. Acro Dance is an art form specifically designed for dancers. Acro has softer, more lyrical-looking lines than floor gymnastics, with emphasis on lengthening “through” the tricks and holding beautiful balances with interesting variations.
The focus is on seamlessly blending acrobatics with dance, and avoiding obvious preparations before each trick. With the added element of Acro, students can learn acrobatics to add into their dance routines, starting with simple stretches and balances working towards more advance moves and tumbling as they progress.
At the academy classes start from Pre-School age and continue through until adult. We follow the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, are fully certified in teaching Acro dance and we are an official AcroPad centre so we can always offer the best to our students.
